- The Grant will be available to those households who have been inspected and where remedial or upgrade works have been recommended in the inspection report.
The scheme will award
- Up to €4,000 or 80% of the value of the works to householders whose household income is up to €50,000.
- Around €2,500 or 50% of the value of the works will be given to households whose income is between €50,001 and €75,000 .
Inspections are expected to commence in 2013 and will be based on a national inspection plan currently being finalised by the Environmental Protection Agency.
