Ecosystem

An ecosystem is a complex network of living and non-living components that interact with one another in a dynamic and interdependent manner. It is made up of all the living organisms, such as plants, animals, fungi, and microorganisms, as well as the physical and chemical environment they inhabit. These components are interdependent and form a complex web of relationships that support the functioning of the ecosystem as a whole. Energy flows through the ecosystem, and matter cycles through it, allowing for the growth and reproduction of organisms. Every species in the ecosystem has a unique role to play, and their interactions with each other and with the environment help to maintain the delicate balance of the ecosystem. Any disturbance to this balance, such as changes in climate, land use, or the introduction of non-native species, can have far-reaching consequences for the ecosystem’s health and well-being.
