What is Scrum?

Scrum is widely used in software development frameworks. It is designed to help teams work together to complete complex projects. Scrum is based on the principle of “empirical process control,” which relies on data and feedback to guide decisions and improve results.

The Sprint Backlog is a part of the Product Backlog that includes all the details that need to be finished during the current sprint. The Sprint Backlog is kept up with by the Development Team, who are responsible for completing the tasks within the sprint.

The Development Team delivers an increment of working software after each sprint. This increment must be usable, meaning that it must be able to be used by actual users. The increment must also be complete, meaning that all features included in the sprint must be fully functional. Finally, the increment must be tested.

When choosing between Scrum and Six Sigma for your business process, it is essential to understand the critical differences between the two. Scrum focuses on the projects being manageable through “sprints” and delivering value through prioritisation and regular customer feedback.
