Kerrygold’s clever marketing campaign intrigued a nation while making their brand internationally recognised with a series of clever adds over 20 years ago which still resonates today. The “Who’s bringing the horse to France?” campaign was so successful it became viral at a time when social media did not exist.
With the campaign now over 20 years old, “the line put a bit of butter on the spuds Andre” is still uttered up and down the country on a daily basis, it has become engrained in Irish culture. Today, the brand enjoys leading positions in many of its markets and is the number one branded butter in Germany, (save that one for the table quiz).
ECOS in conjunction with Celtic Bioenergy has revived the horse and is getting him ready for our biannual think tank/retreat/musical session which is relocating this September from Dingle to La Rochelle.
